Power batteries have higher performance requirements than ordinary energy storage batteries, such as greater energy density requirements, faster charging and discharging speeds, and higher battery output current requirements. Thermally conductive interface materials play a role in efficient heat transfer in batteries. When the temperature of the electric cell is too high, the heat will be transferred to the aluminium plate in the battery pack through the thermally conductive interface materials, and then from the aluminium plate to the metal casing, which ensures the stable operation of the battery module.

Thermally conductive interface materials that can be applied to electric passenger car battery systems:

① Low-density thermally conductive gel can keep the gel state all the time, soft, low compression stress, will not cause damage to the target device. Good thermal conduction efficiency, low thermal resistance can be obtained, automated equipment dispensing can be achieved. And low-density thermally conductive gel (BN-TG350-35, BN-TG350-65) is more in line with the needs of lightweight electric passenger cars, and can be used for heat transfer between the battery module and liquid cooling tube.

② Thermally Conductive Potting Adhesive (BN-RT400-5, BN-RT450, BN-RT500) can be used for potting and bonding of power battery packs and magnetic cores, which can not only conduct heat from the battery module to the heat dissipation case, but also reduce the size of the gap in the module design with the advantage of the high dielectric strength of the potting adhesive.

③Thermally conductive insulating film (HN-400, BNG400, BNG410, BNK10) can be used for heat dissipation and insulation of power conversion devices such as IGBT. The thin thickness of thermally conductive insulating film can fill the gap, its excellent electrical insulation properties can increase the insulation strength, and high thermal stability, long working life. It meets the environmental requirements of UL and has good flame retardant properties.

④Thermally conductive phase change film (BN-PM2020) can be used for heat transfer between batteries and between batteries and heat pipes. ⑤ Thermal Conductive Spacer (BN-FS150-PI, BN-FS150SP) transfers heat evenly between cells and between cells and heat sink tubes to maintain the balance of the overall temperature of the battery pack. Thermally conductive gasket sheet body soft, good resilience, good insulation and thermal conductivity can improve the efficiency and service life of the battery, and the thermal conductive gasket paste tear easy to take, easy to repair.

①Flame-retardant insulating sheet: electric passenger car batteries work with high energy density, which generates a lot of heat, in order to avoid safety problems, so the product design must be done when the fire treatment.
