Centralised inverters

A centralised inverter is a series of PV modules with multiple circuits in parallel connected to the DC input of the same centralised inverter. Centralised inverters are commonly used in plants, power stations and other large-scale power generation systems with a total system power above the megawatt level, usually paired with an IGBT power module, while using a DSP converter controller to improve the quality of the output power. Centralised inverters have a high degree of integration and high energy density, which generates a large amount of heat. If the temperature is too high, it will affect the working efficiency and even reduce the life of electronic components, which in turn affects the photovoltaic conversion efficiency of the PV system, so it is very important to choose a suitable thermal interface thermal conductivity material to ensure the reliability and durability of the equipment.

Centralised inverters can be applied to the thermal interface thermal conductive materials:

①Thermally conductive spacer (BN-FS300+PI, BN-FS500) can be used for thermal filler between the backside of the PCB board and the housing. Thermally conductive pads are soft and resilient, and have good thermal conductivity and electrical insulation, thermal pads can meet the ambient temperature of -60 ~ 200 ℃, can adapt to the extreme outdoor weather conditions.

② Thermal grease (BN-GC3095, BN-GC4095) can be applied to the power module IGBT, current sensors to dissipate heat, improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the electronic components, to maintain the stability of the power module. Thermally conductive silicone grease is a composite paste material consisting of organic silicone-based thermal filler, good fluidity, excellent wetting properties, good thixotropy; can be obtained from the ultra-thin thickness of the material, currently up to 10 μm or less, with very low thermal resistance.

③ Thermally conductive insulating film (BNG410) can be used for heat dissipation between the inverter power module IGBT, diode and heat sink, can be fastened with screws to make the thermally conductive insulating film fully contact with the heat source interface and heat dissipation interface, to improve the efficiency of heat dissipation.

④ Thermally conductive potting adhesive thermal conductivity of 0.5W/mK (boost inductor / inverter inductor) potting sealing, so that the electronic components and the external world isolation, to help the heat of the electronic components of the heat dissipation of heat, but also provides vibration-proof, waterproof, corrosion-resistant, flame-retardant and other properties, greatly improving the stability of the work of the energy storage equipment in harsh environments. Thermally conductive potting adhesive has low viscosity, good fluidity, can be cured at room temperature or heat, no by-products, and has a very small shrinkage.

⑤ Heat curing adhesive (BN-RT series) can be used for bonding inductors, diodes and heat sinks. Heat curing adhesive is a one-component additive silicone thermally conductive bonding adhesive, product performance is stable, -40 ~ 200 ℃ range to maintain the elasticity of the rubber. Flame retardant grade UL94 V-0, in line with environmental protection and halogen-free requirements.
